Beef Tips and Gravy

This is a recipe that many of us older people our moms have handed it down from generation to generation. Its what I call a Tried and True recipe you can vary it up however you choose.

1 1/2 pounds of beef tips
1 sliced yellow onion
1 pkg of onion soup mix (doesnt matter i its generic times are tough )
1 can of mushroom soup
1can of beef broth
1pkg of egg noodles

Cook the beef tips first on low heat until tender use that for your 1 can of beef broth then add the rest of the ingredients to this. Cook on med to low for a hour or so.

1 variation is you can use sour cream in this too and it really good.

make sure when you cook your beef tips cook until they are done and not mooing anymore  it will taste better and follow direction on your egg noodles to cook those.

Food

We are going to talk about food today. Who doesn't like food? Its obvious that we have to have it to survive. But why be afraid of it ,it wont bite it doesn't talk back , it tastes great well some of it.So why be afraid of it.
Here is why if its not cooked right it will make you very sick if you dont cook it right big sick. Check your cooking temps if your not sure ..the next blog will have cooking temps for your meat so you can stay alive. Wash your veggies its a must the farmers and lord knows who else handles your food Wash it good too. Above all WASH YOUR HANDS there is alot of unmentionables on your hands germs some start with P and end with OO.Keep those hands clean that will make you sick. Cook your meat thoroughly check it with a meat thermometer .The cows themselves may not be sick but the processing can make a person turn green. Handle veggies with care  some of them bruise tomatoes can bruise very easily. Otherwise have fun with your food  look at it  check for  green spots (mold) smell it make sure it smells fresh it wont bite your nose off I promise.
Its food its good for you makes you healthy and strong. It does a body good to eat your fruits and veggies  grains meat try not to eat the processed stuff and yes Im talking to myself as well that stuff will kill you if you eat to much of it.
Basically have fun with it you will be surprised  how fun it is to cook with it and eat it after it is cooked well.

Salsa

There is a story behind this recipe that will be told at the end..

Salsa

6cans of stewed tomatoes
4cloves of garlic
2 jalapenos seeded unless you want it hot and spicy
1 large red onion
1/4 bunch of cilantro
juice of 2 limes you can add zest too
salt to taste 1/2 tbl sugar
put in food processor or about a minute or 2

Now as I said earlier in one of the blogs I got a new food processor and I hadnt opened it up yet. Well the day I decided to try it out on salsa took it out of the box. Took out all the carboard stuff in it I guess I was excited because 1 I didnt get all the cardboard out and 2.Forgot to wash it before I used it. So while I was making the salsa of course I saw wet cardboard I thought it was cilantro and used a fork to get it out and it wasnt cilantro soo make sure you take out all the cardboard even under the blade and wash it all..
